Breakthrough Propulsion Physics

From the Breakthrough Propulsion Physics website of the Institute of Aerospace Engineering,TU Dresden: “Travel to the stars within a human lifetime is “impossible” (considering available technologies and the usual budgets) using propulsion technologies that were developed so far. We need a breakthough in physics to create a propulsion system that resembles the features of something like a “Warp Drive” from Star Trek. Therefore, we are trying to develop new concepts that can be tested, evaluate claims from others and try to identify new worthwhile experiments/theories that can help to reach that goal.”

At this website you’ll find information on emerging technologies, like Mach Effect or EMDrive.

Propulsion Ideas

Propulsion Ideas from the Tau Zero Foundation website states:

“Propulsion” is the general term for the devices that move vehicles. In a sense, “propulsion” means the “engines” of spacecraft. For starflight, this also includes the power source. Many competing ideas exist, and many researchers have their favorite.  The list provided here is not intended to highlight favorites, but simply to present the real information on each. The list spans methods that already exist to those that still require physics breakthroughs before they can be designed.

The Tau Zero Foundation was founded by NASA Breakthrough Propulsion Physics Project (BPP) program manager Marc G. Millis and others after the programm ended in 2002.

American Antigravity

From their website: “American Antigravity was founded in 2002 to explore antigravity, warp-drives, and emerging science in Breakthrough Propulsion Physics. Over time it has grown into massive collection of research, interviews, and scientific knowledge relating to emerging space & energy science, and it serves as a community center for bleeding-edge science & technology research that doesn’t get covered by the mainstream media.

We serve the community by helping to connect scientists, innovators, and enthusiasts through a forum for them share their passion for emerging science, and we’re proud to contribute to the continued innovation in mankind’s quest for the stars. As we continue help innovators tell their story, we strive to engage public interest in supporting research that benefits all of humanity.”

At this website you’ll find information on emerging and fringe technologies, like Electrogravitics.

Heim Theory

Heim Theory, first proposed by German physicist Burkhard Heim publicly in 1957, is an attempt to develop a theory of everything in theoretical physics.

At the moment Heim Theory is considered to be part of Fringe Physics. You’ll find more information on this theory at Heim Theory, Protosimplex and IGAAP – Research.

You’ll find an introductory article, “The Unified Quantum Field Theory of Burkhard Heim and the 5th Dimension”, on the controversial  Heim Theory at The Unidentified.

Pais Effect

From Wikioedia; “Salvatore Cezar Pais is an American aerospace engineer and inventor, currently working for the United States Air Force. He formerly worked at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. His patent applications on behalf of his employers have attracted international attention for their potential military and energy-producing applications, but also doubt about their feasibility, and speculation that they may be misinformation intended to mislead the United States’ strategic adversaries about the direction of United States defense research.”

At the WarZone website you’ll find an article series about the bizarre UFO Patents from Salvatore Pais.

At Project Unity you’ll find an interview with Brett Tingley, the author of the WarZone article series.
